Sweet Potato &Oats Bones

For Cookie Cutters


  • 1 Sweet Potato (medium size)

  • 5.3 Oz Rice Flour

  • 2.1 Oz Oats Flour

  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil

  • ½ tsp of Thyme/Oreganoor similar herb (optional)


  • Medium Sized Bowl

  • Rolling Pin

  • Oven

  • Bones Cookie Cutters


  • 1.Cut the sweet potato into chunks and cook it in the oven until it’s soft (350°F, 20-25 minutes).
  • 2.Mash the sweet potatoes until they turn into mashed potatoes, and let them cool.
  • 3.Add the oil and flour to the potatoes and start mixing until it becomes a homogeneous mix. You can add any spice if you want.
  • 4.Pour the mixture into a flat lightly floured surface, and roll it with the rolling pin (with a little oil so it doesn’t stick) until it becomes a thin layer (0.1 - 0.2 inches).
  • 5.Grab the bones cookie cutters and cut the dough in as many cookies as you can. Then place the cookies in an oiled oven tray.
  • 6.Cook in the oven for 10 minutes (or until golden) at 350°F and let them cool.
